Why and when to use a Face Mask?
Face masks primarily aid in preventing the spread of viruses such as COVID-19. The government for England says:
- People should aim to wear face coverings on public transport and in some shops
- Also in other “enclosed spaces where social distancing is not always possible and they come into contact with others that they do not normally meet”
- “Social distancing” means staying more than two metres away from someone
- Face coverings should be worn and not surgical masks or respirators which should be left for healthcare staff and other workers who need them
With a number of stores being able to open their doors imminently, such as hairdressers, the use of masks is paramount. For example, hairdressers have been advised that in order to trade they will need to wear masks as well as provide their clients with clean masks.
Effective use of Face Masks
In order for face masks to be effective we need to ensure they are used properly.
Prior to putting a face mask on you must sterilise your hands. If you touch your mask you should change it. Masks should be washed after each use.
Our range of printed face masks
The use of disposable PPE has created a new stream of waste that cannot be recycled and will go to landfill.
We have introduced a new range of reusable face masks in pre-printed designs. The face masks are supplied in packs of 10 and they’re fully washable and re-usable for long lasting use.
The reusable 100% Cotton Face Masks have OEKO TEX 100 certificates class 1 and 2. This means they are free from harmful substances. Masks are glue and chemical free so they can also be used safely by children.
Our standard face masks are printed on 100% certificated cotton, making them breathable, eco-friendly and fully re-usable. Masks should be washed after each use and can be washed at temperatures up to 40 degrees Celsius.
Choose from male or female sizes. The difference is the length of elastic used. Please call us for more information or custom requests.
